One of the absolute best things about multilevel marketing businesses is that you can work when you feel like working. You aren’t bound by a boss or regular business hours. If you want to take the day off to go with your son or daughter on a field trip you can do that, or if you want to take a long lunch and just relax for a while you can do that too.

However, if you really want to take your business to the next level and be as successful as possible you need to have scheduled business hours.

Keep in mind that when I say business hours I don’t mean that they have to be 9-5 Monday through Friday. They can be from 4 PM to 8 PM or 7 in the morning until your kids get out of school at 2:30. Whatever and whenever they are doesn’t matter at all. Remember, it’s your business. It just matters that you have them and you stick to them.

A lot of people who have an internet MLM business tend to think they’re working a lot harder than they actually are. That’s because they might be doing 5 minutes here or 20 minutes there and because they’re working during the entire day they feel like they’ve gotten a lot done when actually they haven’t accomplished much of anything.

If you live with other people like a spouse, kids or a roommate you’ll want to make sure that they all know that during your specific work hours you need to be left to work your legitimate home based business. That doesn t mean that you have to shut yourself off from the world for 8 hours a day. You can still pick your kids up from school and hang out with them, but when it’s time to work it’s time to work!

When you know you’re getting plenty of work time in you can relax knowing that all your hard work and effort will soon pay off. Bottom line, work when you need to work and relax when you need to relax. It’s all about balance and boundaries.

Set your business hours and stick with them and you’ll see results in your working at home business a whole lot sooner.
